The brain and body systems that process emotions are intimately connected with the hormonal apparatus, the nervous system, and in particular the immune system.
MindBody health
Emotional stress is a major cause of physical illness, from cancer to autoimmune conditions and many other chronic diseases.
Diagnostics don’t explain, they describe. We don’t have an autoimmune disease, a cancer, as something that would exist outside out of the body and that we’d catch, it’s an ensemble of processes the medical community agrees to call X which are happening in the body.
By working on connecting again to our true self, learning to see our coping mechanisms for what they are, all done in a compassionate way, we have great chances to lower the activity of those processes in our body.
This work is not done with one modality only, it is a holistic approach. We combine Compassionate Inquiry & coaching with a wide range of other modalities for you to implement : yoga, meditation, practicing art (making music, singing, painting…), walks in nature, and multiple forms of self care (nutrition, sleep hygiene, stress management). I provide there a great network of knowledge & resources to draw upon, based on what resonates with you.
“If trauma is disconnection and disease is a physiological manifestation of this disconnection then healing is becoming whole again. The more you realize that you’re okay, the more you realize that what happened then doesn’t have to define your present and your future. If you gain agency over your life, you can affect the process. The healing comes in taking the power back and taking back the agency.”
– Gabor Maté
What MindBody healing looks like:

– Return to wholeness
– Free yourself from past pain
– Transform
– Find relief
– Be at peace
I am not a medically trained doctor or physician and I do not interfere with medical treatment. Drugs can be a tremendous help to avoid pain and body degradation while working on oneself as described above. I provide assistance (relevant questions to ask your doctor for example) when requested.
